Love Bracelet

If you spend some time browsing Etsy you will find so many beautiful examples of message necklaces and bracelets created using wire wrapping techniques. Keep reading below to see my take on the message bracelet.

You will need:

  • Wire (I found that the utility wire I picked up at the dollar store actually worked much better than jewellery wire from the craft store. You may need to test out a few different types of wire to find what works best for you)
  • Jewellery Chain (I re-used an old bracelet for my jewellery chain and clasp.)
  • Jewellery Clasp
  • Needle-nose Pliers
  • Wire Cutters

 Step 1

Decide what word you want to use for your bracelet. Roll out a long length of wire and use your needle-nose pliers to bend and shape the letters in your word. Be sure to create a loop at the start and end of your word so you have something to attach the jewellery chain too.

Step 2

Once your word is complete, use your wire cutters to remove it from the roll of wire. Use your wire cutters to cut off the necessary length of jewellery chain. Cut the length of chain in half and attach it to the loops you created on either side of your word.

Step 3
Attach your clasp and your message bracelet is ready to wear!

P.S. You can easily turn your bracelet into a necklace if you use a longer length of jewellery chain.
